The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
